| Posted: | | | | I'd like to have custom collection categories that, rather than having titles assigned to them, would display the results of a saved filter.
For example, I could create a filter that displays titles from the Criterion Collection. Assigning that to a category would give me a Criterion Collection tab on my Collection List, even though my Criterion titles are still assigned to my Blu-ray or DVD custom collections, where they belong.
This feature would probably need the option to exclude titles from the Ordered and/or Wish List categories. |

Something close to it would already be possible with mediadogg's " MyTools" plugin. You can call Filter-Sets or DVD Profiler Command-files at the touch of an icon. I use it since forever, e.g. I have a "show unwatched titles" button, a "Export XML" one etc pp cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Mithi for pointing that out. On the same theme, see PQPal, which is a plugin that works with ProfilerQuery (PQ). PQpal is essentially a separate plugin that is packaged within MyTools for my convenience. So when you load MyTools, you can use PQPal or MyTools functions together or separately. With PQPal, you can use previously saved PQ selection sets to simulate having custom collection categories. Each time you run a PQ query with PQPal, your collection is "instantly" filtered to show only the profiles that match the selection criteria. | | | Thanks for your support.
