| Posted: | | | | I was recently watching "All Quiet on the Western Front". One of the extras is about Universal "restoring the classics". It was mentioned that 1975's "Jaws" was being restored. I was 18 when "Jaws" came out. It doesn't seem like 42 years since I saw this at the theater. It's one of a handful of movies I have on VHS, LaserDisc, DVD and Blu-Ray. "Gone With the Wind" being another.
Damn, I'm getting too hold for this! | | | Just in from somewhere left of the middle of nowhere The Holy See Hell |

| Posted: | | | | What makes me feel old are anniversary editions.
25Th Anniversary this, 30th Anniversary that and on and on. I can remember these movies just hitting the theaters or in terms of really old movies when I saw them on tv for the first time as a kid and now it's decades later.
In terms of those vids with kids, if those kids can't figure out a walkman they probably couldn't put a tape in a VCR.
But it goes the other way too. I've never used Bluetooth and haven't got the foggiest idea of how it works. All I know is its not necessary in my life and I can live without it. |

| Posted: | | | | I really want to barf when I see these "straight out of Central Casting" kids. If I'm alive when they come to power, I hope I'm on Mars. The worst of these spoiled brats is the "Urban Myth" t-shirt girl. Like children off every generation, too much is being for them. I don't think they know how to figure things out. What will happen if the batteries in their remotes go out? "Now it's so, much easier. You don't have to get off a couch or chair. You just go click..." They are just too damn lazy. These kids won't survive the apocalypse. | | | Just in from somewhere left of the middle of nowhere The Holy See Hell |

| Posted: | | | | I may be old. But, I have purpose in life. I give our two cats a place to lay when they want to take a nap. ( Not me.) | | | Just in from somewhere left of the middle of nowhere The Holy See Hell |
