| Posted: | | | | Hi,
Can you please add a new option for 4K discs? and for that matter 3D discs would be great to be noted as a format too.
I'll admit the application is great and continues to work very well, but an update to allow these as specific formats, (and multiple formats) would be VERY helpful. For example, I can't always search and find all of my 4k discs, and 3D is worse.
So can we have:
DVD, Blu-Ray, Blu-ray 3D, 4k?
And if you really want to be more specific, I'd like to know which discs are made to order... for example I'd want to be able to note DVD-r, BD-R, etc. as well.
Another feature I'd LOVE, is if there was a way to be alerted when there's a Blu-ray of a DVD available, or a 3D for that matter... So when I go look at a title, such as a DVD of Top Gun, I'd see a 'NEW FORMATS!' button that I could click on, and it would tell me that there's a Blu-ray and a Blu-Ray 3D! Even better, would be to know that there was a new release. For example, let's say I love Poltergeist II, and own the Best Buy exclusive, and recently MGM released a Poltergeist II & III set, and Shout Factory released a Special Edition, if I did't know about it, I'd be thrilled to have been informed in my library. PLUS, if you include an amazon link you might make a profit from a clickthrough from the app. (I wouldn't mind since you provided the service of telling me about the disc.)
I'd REALLY like to be able to run a search on my library and know what is available in Blu-ray or 4K when all I have is a DVD.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

| Posted: | | | | Yeah I asked for a 3D filter years ago and still nothing. I've purchased over 60 3D formatted Blu-Rays and in it's current build it's tough to sort them out. Dying format or not their still part of my collection sad I don't have the option to sort for such a "robust" program. Disappointed since I've supported this program since the split. | | | Last edited: by Ralston |

I've been wanting some way to easily sort my 3D discs. I just recently became 3D capable and have been buying many titles. I've purchased at least three that I already had on 3D (and nearly did it again) but did not see them in my collection when I searched for "3D" (I accumulated a few over the years if the price was right). It seemed like the only titles that came up in that manner are those with 3D incorporated into the title, or in the "Edition" (though that's not a multi-value field and is frequently already filled with "Diamond Edition" or "Collector's Edition" or some other special designation). When I can find these in my collection, I've been adding "3D" to the sort title. I'll have to check the above filter to see how that works. |

I'd never used filters, and the Invelos help isn't especially helpful on how to use them (that I could find). But I finally managed to work it out, thankfully. I was using a layout that seemed to hide the filters. I reverted to the default layout. I found three more Marvel titles that I was unaware I already have on 3D. I've been planning to purchase them, and came close a couple times over the past few weeks. Thanks for the assistance! I think I now have a handle on all the 3D in my collection. Though for some reason the profile for Hotel Transylvania 3D is not flagged as such. I was sure I had it, but it did not come up on the filtered list. So I've updated that profile in my collection. | | | Last edited: by Mixmaster_Mal |

You wouldn't have guessed it from my post but I really have a lot of love for this program. It's been a great asset for the thousands of movies I've added then replaced and keeping track of them. Before the iPhone app came out I don't know how many times I bought the same movie twice. |
