| Posted: | | | | It would be nice if there was an option in the "Online Collection Settings" to only show the items which have a collection number because I don't think anyone likes to see every single disc listed. I know it bothers me a lot when I have to use the webpage. For example my Columbo collection uses up a whole screen and a half. I only assign numbers where to me it makes sense and it would be nice if my web collection would reflect that. Shouldn't be hard to implement. |

| Posted: | | | | In the program you should be able to filter on Collection Number: None, then flag all filtered profiles and Set Exclusions: Hide in public online listing. Possibly also private listing if you wish. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Nexus the Sixth |

| Posted: | | | | Then I would also have to do that for every new disc I add. Adding an option here should be a lot easier (1h of coding)? |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, but it is much easier since the option is available as check boxes directly in the personalize window, which I assume you use when adding new titles anyway. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Nexus the Sixth |

| Posted: | | | | I actually don't, no. You can skip that dialog for subitems.
I will probably just go ahead and write a couple of PHPs to host on my homepage where I can customize the list. |

| Posted: | | | | phpDVDProfiler sounds interesting, thanks! I will check that one out.
Don't think they are going to put any work in the online version anymore since it still looks the same it did 10 years ago. |

| Posted: | | | | Nice software, but it's also too much work for my tastes having to update yet another database after every edit... People have too much time on their hands, hm? I will write a wrapper which loads the HTML from invelos.com and filters out the entries I don't want. Not as flexible, but it'll do the job. |

Yeah, that is the downside, although I have it honed down to one click export in Profiler, then one batch-file for upload and lastly triggering the website. That might be a plug-in, but I'm afraid there are not enough users to warrant such an undertaking. Quote: People have too much time on their hands, hm? That is pretty much a prerequisite for using DVD Profiler in the first place! | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |
