The database that is currently open should show up in Profiler's titlebar:

Invelos Software DVD Profiler – Default
Invelos Software DVD Profiler – iPhone Database
Invelos Software DVD Profiler – Testing Database

On more than one occasion, I have created backups under the wrong name because I casually overlooked which one I had open while using the last file name stored in "Backup Location." In one case, I accidentally did an overwrite of one database with another, though I had additional backups.

(I am a little surprised I have not seen or mentioned this one before.)

You can always use a specific directory for storing your different backups.

I assume you know that the database name already appears in the lower left-hand corner .... but you prefer a different place .... right?

Yes, I know it is there, though I have overlooked it many times as well.

But the method of placing an open document, folder, or database name at the very top in the titlebar is rather common practice.
