Is it possible to have a simple text list of names of movies I own on my android phone?I do not need images or any data only alphabetical text list which is preferably searchable.Is there a way to create a report on my desktop and save as a text file that is readable and searchable on my phone without using the android app?

Just run a report and print to pdf. You can make this as detailed as you want just by picking different report templates or make or modify your own to your liking.
