| Posted: | | | | My wife & I have Samsung GS3's with external 64GB SDs. Our collection is 1830 dvds. When we try to do an Online Update to the external SD, we each get about 1150 dvds with no images. We've noticed that the update aborts during the the profile phase. The dvds that were updated seem good, but none have images.
I also tried the PC Update and the connection is verified during the setup, but hangs without updating any dvds during the update.
Any thoughts?

Be sure you have activated sharing your collection in options. Also use IP address instead of server name as this is more stable. Open the used port (default:32847) in your firewall. Verification is known to be broken and will show a success result in any case. | | | |

It took me 4 tries and my wife 3 tries before we got complete databases with images with Online Update. I don't know why it aborts early.
Yes, using the IP rather than the machine name worked for the PC Update.
Great looking app!
I've been waiting for a long time for Android DVDP. I'm glad it finally made it.

| Posted: | | | | I'm having problems downloading the DB on my SGS3 too. On my Acer A500 it works fine. If I use the update via the online connection I get connection errors on start or less than 5 seconds after. If I use the update via my PC the app always crashes after reading the database. The DVD Profiler on my PC sometimes shows 2 or 0 connections. | | | Last edited: by Seghal |

But that was to be expected since it works on my other device. And the connection issue with the online connection can not be solved by this since it is another problem. |
