| Posted: | | | | I would like to have the ability for the program to ignore local birth years, real or fake.
As well as to ignore all items in the Other crew section, which I have used to keep track of audio commentary participants, trailers and effects companies.
Also for the program to ignore what is in the custom crew role field as long as the job checkbox is the same.
This would help cut down on comparing differences in updated profiles where the only difference is a local birth year or something in the other crew section. |

| Posted: | | | | Since birthyears in general are contributable data it will not be possible to achieve this. How is the program supposed to know which of your birthyears are just not contributed yet and which are "local only"?
A big +1 for ignoring custom crew data in the "Other" section(s).
As addition: Ignoring custom genres would be a good idea too. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Perhaps a checkbox in the cast edit window would allow the program to ignore the birth years that are checked. |

If we're talking about the profile comparison screen then I agree 100% with this one. I would still like to see the custom role, but not have it be highlighted as a difference. --------------- |
