Just a thought (I don’t know if this has been mentioned before), have you investigated adding the Android App to the android marketplace. You can do it even if it’s in beta. This would take the hassle out of letting people know its updated and what has changed as the marketplace would prompt people when an update has been made, and you can add a what’s changed to it there. Links can be place to either your forums or those of invelos.

I am not sure where the files have to be stored but I would guess it would have to be on their servers which would also get round any hosting issues.

If there is a cost I would happily donate to it, as I believe others would also as it is a great help to this community. I remember reading that it was about $25, I am sure that can be easily raised by people like me on the forums.
