I prefer to add dvds by title, not barcode. After entering the movie title I select the profile that either exactly matches my dvd barcode or the closest match. There is a Locality drop down box where you can select 1 country at a time.

Can we have an option to preselect a number of Localities rather than having to search them one at a time? I live in Canada but often the dvds I buy can originate from either Canada or The U.S. Having the option to select multiple Localities would save me the pain of having to switch back and forth.

Why not just preselect region 1? It should only bring up the Canadian and US profiles if I'm not mistaken.

I was under the same impression at first but if the United States was selected as my locality then the Canadian entries are omitted and vice versa.

Most Important - The two areas that must be looked at effectively is the SRP  and the Ratings. These two areas  separate the Canadian and USA locality's. and as well if the cover art is filled with French Language the Original ( in hand) art will be substituted ..

I definitely compare the quality of the artwork when selecting a profile. The SRP has little use to me as I don't track it and while I've noticed a difference in the rating systems between the two countries that isn't important enough to me to be a deal breaker of any sort.

KinoNiki's suggestion was to select region 1 and leave Locality set at Any. Thus, you should get all US, Canadian and Quebecan profiles.

I just looked at that and yes it would work as it does include Canada, and U.S.... and Italy, and Germany, and Brazil, and Spain, the Netherlands, etc... So really going that route doesn't confine entries to Region 1 releases. Again, it will work but really one should be able to filter more precisely.
