| Posted: | | | | I think it's pretty cool. I especially like the cowl, but I also like how it gives off the impression that it's made of fabric, but with bits of armour attached for protection. Seems to be a more realistic take on what a Bat suit might actually look like were someone to make one in real life. Here's a side-by-side comparison with the last one: KM | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! Dolly's not alone. You can also clone profiles. You've got questions? | Posted: | | | | I like it. I've seen that page elsewhere and explained. Note that the head is able to do something very different to all previous Batman films: tilt and swivel! Finally Bats has a normal neck! I know what you mean, Rifter, but at least in the comics, Batman could look around. I think it looks good. More practical. In the same way the Batmobile looked like it was designed to do a job, rather than just look weird. Rumours suggest the new suit is introduced as a plot element. Apparently the first one is discarded after an acid attack by The Joker. That brings me onto another revisionist twist I like. | Posted: | | | | Skip, you and I are just too old. My favorite Batman costume was the one from the comic books I read as a kid (many years after the series began, I must add). I didn't think the suit in the TV series Adam West wore was right, either, but it was closer to what I pictured the guy wearing than the sculpted version of the film. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? | Posted: | | | | C'mon now guys. The 'old timers' not liking the new suit is like the 'kids' not liking the old movies (referencing the other thread) ....think about it. Personally I like both the new suit and old movies | | | Last edited: by lyonsden5 |

| Posted: | | | | I don't mean I don't like the new suit, just that it isn't what I envision when I think of the "Real" Batman. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. KM I don't know - I'm reminded of the Tin Man in the Wizard of oz - Batman looks like he'll need to carry an oil can to lubricate it! |
