I'm missing this. In DVDP2 i used to be able to expand a boxset with a press on the right arrow key and close it with left arrow. This seems to be completely missing from DVDP3, at least on Vista.

edit: sorry about the subject typo

Not if you don't have a numeric keypad on your keyboard.  It doesn't work when you have to use shifted -/= keys.

Hydrox, I reported this problem in every version/release since 3.0 in the beta release forum.  Last time I narrowed down the problem to the number of columns displayed.  It workds if you have only 1 column displayed in your collecteion list.

With that information I'm hoping Ken will acknowledge this as a "bug" and fix it.  I understand your frustration, I'm using a wireless keyboard with a glider pad and it's really a pain to deal with boxsets.

i'm using a laptop without numeric keypad. the standard german + and - keys don't work because they are mapped differently on a us keyboard and according to touti not even the right ones would work

Ah I see.

Well left/right arrows would conflict with normal navigation of the list in thumbnail view.

it shouldn't be too hard to activate them for normal view and deactivate for thumbnail view, it was that way in DVDP2

I only used 2.4 so had no experience of the thumbnails in 2.5

Would be odd to use arrows for everything but thumbnail view though. I think it would be better to use something that was consistent across all views. Maybe something other than +/- would be better, but I think whatever it is it should be the same across all views.
