I occasionally come across ''duplicate cast names''    in the cast section of Invelos ..
Case in point for today,    -    Fred Willard ( 1939) ( d 2003 )

I have him in 20 movies and also have him in 6 movies .
the six is listed as both Fred Willard , but one is marked  B. 1939 ,
the other 20  list  has no birth date .

how to merge ?
I could delete  but the program won't allow me to delete,,  as I have part of the six in my data already .

there must be simple way.

thanks !
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

From the contribution rules:

Use the "Credited As" field where the actor's name differs from the credited name.

Afterwards you will be able to delete the now unused names.

According to the info in List of proven INVALID Birth Years, the birthyear is invalid.

You can find the incorrect castmember in one movie, find the correct one in your database and hold Ctrl so the ‘replace’ button changes to’global replace’ choose this and all movies will have the correct actor (or common name, for which it’ll also work).

Than you can remove the inccorrect entry as no profiles are connected to it anymore.
