For a PC program, in a pre streaming, pre "everything is digital and online and social media" era, this was a very high price, at least for me and at my age to that time. It's not really the amount paid. I think the issue is the tardy updates (not staying current with the industry), but when enough people start complaining, they dangle a carrot in front of everyone and then we wait months for the update to finally materialize.
