I am thinking about getting this for my phone, some questions. |

You can connect to the DVD Profiler software on your PC and download the database that way. You just need to connect your phone to your PC via the USB cable that came with the phone. Really??? If you had a WiFi access point or router then you could download from the online Database or your PC without eating up your assigned mobile units. |

It seems that a used wireless router (and a LAN cable if your computer doesn't have wireless capability) would be best.
As we have the same phone it would be nice to have somebody out there that I could check with if anything out of the ordinary happened. And the App is really neat!

I was so hoping that the cable method would be a viable option. if you have a smartphone then wifi at home would be really useful for you to view/reply email browse internet transfer music to your phone from your PC View kindle books on your phone etc. I'm very surprised you are not connecting to the internet with a router (and I haven't seen one that isn't wifi as well nowadays..) | | | | Paul |

So I was thinking of getting one of those pay as you go portable hot spots so that I can get back on the internet on my desktop.
As I stated before, my computer has no wi-first built in. So what would I need? Some sort of wi-first adapter that connects in the usb port? My desktop has Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1. Does any adapter work with Windows 7? |
