As to the OP, it isn't something I would use, but I have no objections. You don't want to use the real country but "other" No, I simply don't care about this particular field. Knowing where the primary production company is located just isn't that important to me so, as I said, it isn't something I would use. As long as the film is presented "OAR", I honestly don't care what that ratio is. Quote: Isn't the goal of DVDP to be the most exact it can be? That may be the goal, but that doesn't mean I have to be interested in every bit of minutia we are able to enter. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. By exemple I don't enter the rating details at all for me the rating only is more than enough... | | | Last edited: December 4, 2011 6:49 AM by Jimmy S |

How do you tell if it's OAR if you don't know what ratio it is? |

The only thing that matters to me is that, if it was originally presented in a widescreen format, it is presented the same way on the disc. Knowing the actual aspect ratio doesn't help as I am not going to look up the theatrical aspect ratio and compare. That being the case, the numbers, for me, are useless bits of data. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. And, since we are being technical, this is not a topic. This is a post, in response to another post, within a thread, that has a subject/topic. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
