So being enable to restore your more than 700 dvd titles due the unregistered limitation software, you install and old version and export your collection elsewhere.
There is another place for DVD/Blu-Ray collections? ;) | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

You had the time to spew your poison, but you lack the class to apologize to those, including Ken Cole himslef who tried to help, in spite of your hateful behavior. Too bad. If that works the first thing you should do is upgrade to the latest version. In the meantime drop the bad attitude. I just tried the old IVS site for my information and bang zoom, up it came. Typed in my user name and my password that was it.
If you can't remember your old information you may be SOL, but that is hardly Invelos' fault.
Skip Now that was a shock! I didn't know you could still login over there. I was looking at my user settings and noticed that the last time I uploaded my collection there was 12/3/06, and I had 352 DVD's in my collection. 3 years later, I have over 850 in my collection. Over 500 discs purchased in 3 years is a little mind-numbing for me. |

I'm always amazed at what what people expect for $30.00 dollars, (or $25.00 in my case). They expect someone to secure their important documents, profiles, scan covers, read the disc info, create profiles and what ever, all they have to do is sit back and bitch.
To my recalculation that this is the only software or anything for that matter that I have purchased that I have been able to upgrade for free, unless the purchased product was defective.
I will bet most of serious DVD collectors would have repurchased this new product from Invelos when it started up.
Microsoft is has been tossing around the idea of adding a change in their software, Windows 7, that you get with one their updates, that if by their data base your software is not legal, it will bug you at regular intervals to purchase it. And you thought the dreaded blue screen was bad. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. | Posted: | | | | For the records Of course I did upgrade to the new version, and yes I have an account : patkenoby And no I can't connect with it and the password. Don’t ask me why, I have asked also Invelos about it. So Yes I should used "Forgot your password?" feature, but My ISP was absorbed by another one and all my email addresses changed as well, so this feature is useless in that case. Told invelos about it too. Well Regarding to backups, unless you ghost your volume, which I don't at home by choice, you need to reinstall the software and then restore the database, and in that case you are asked for the registration key again. For those who find my disfortune funny, yep you are right don’t use your brain it won’t help. And for backup of the registration codes advice, thanks, I do, I just miss that one, I wish being like you never make mistakes. Apologies for what ? Being rude, after spending my time to provide all necessary stuff to get back my code, just to get nothing except this robotic answer once ( yes that is spending a lot of time to help as someone said……… ) Anyway the energy spent by some of you to write about thomething they don’t even try to feagure out is amazing. Glad to provide you a target. Hope you have a lot of fun on my back. For those who send me personnal messages, and post to help solve this : I DO THANK YOU, My apologies only for you beacuse I didn’t expect help when posting that way. Just express my frustration to Invelos. So now with the hole story, if you still believe that Invelos helped, well never loose registration keys then, and don’t make mistakes – I know some of you don’t. If I have to apologies, I will but only for my poor english. Good night and good luck |

| Posted: | | | | I researched the email chain for this and here's what I found. The transaction ID provided was not a valid transaction ID - our rep notified this via email. Further, in your last email, you stated you had "already cracked the program". The case was closed by the handler, likely for one of those reasons.
One other point - we don't use any sort of automated responders, so the emails you received were hand-typed by an Invelos rep.
We can't give out account access without verifying ownership. We do this via 1) username/password, 2) email account access, 3) registration key, or 4) paypal receipt number/transaction id.
Since you don't have 1, 2, or 3, the only thing left is the PayPal information. If you'll sign into your PayPal account and get the transaction ID or receipt number, we'll be happy to provide account access. Just use the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

I provide you with The valid transaction Id (twice) and printscreen as well. No you don't reply that The transaction ID was not a valid one when I provide you this number once and again. I did use a crack for the software to be able to use my databases, that's why I told you, and also that I hate doing that, but after more then 3 weeks without response you didn't left me any other opportunity. After I have uninstall the software and don't use it anymore unfortunatly. My last email regarding the crack was 1 month after my first demand, before Invelos rep remain silent for 2 weeks even after the good transaction ID being provided. Regards |

Skip I agree my friend. but based on his last reply I don't think he sees that way. If he thinks he can find a better app for his DVD's than DVDP, then more power to him. This is a great app and Ken and Geri are good folks who always try to help. I just think this thread has run it's course. |

Not only that but he doesn't read. The transaction ID he provided was invalid. Provide Invelos with the proper information and I'm sure they will be happy to help you. I just recently reinstalled myself (crash from few years ago) not long ago, I however remembered my password for my accounts, was back up and operational in a matter of a few minutes. That goes for both DVDP and Mobile DVDP. | | | Last edited: by dekorsey |

Have you checked to see if your email program automatically moved the email to a spam folder? Hopefully Ken has copies of your response because using a crack program is considered illegal and you can be held financially (if not criminally) liable. Regards Ken previously mentioned that you created a new Invelos account under the username patkenoby not patken? Have you tried logging into this account? The old Intervocative site seems to support Ken's statement as the site can't find a patken account but a patkenoby account does exist. http://www.intervocative.com/dvdcollection.aspx/patkenobyWhat version of DVDP were you using prior to your loss? You can log into the old site via this link: http://legacy.intervocative.com/Login.aspx |
