Next (stupid) question. Let's take a hypothetical case. Ken wants to sell DVD Profiler.
What's the program now worth? It's a declining market. Is there someone on this forum that could or would buy it? With or without partners. And also willing to maintain it. | Posted: Topic Replies: 84, Topic Views: 12529 | | Thank you for the reply.
Indeed. I hope for all the software writers here, that DVD Profiler become open source. And that the rest of the user can profit from it. So the move lies still with Ken. | Posted: Topic Replies: 84, Topic Views: 12529 | | First, I don't know anything about software. So don't hate me for the question/remark.
I noticed that there are some software specialists/engineers on this forum. Is it an option or chance that you guys get together and write a new DVD Profiler. With the best parts from DVD Profiler and update it to be better then it's now. I know it's not written in two days. But is it doable? | Posted: Topic Replies: 84, Topic Views: 12529 | | Dear Ken,
As lurker of the Invelos Dvd Profiler software and such. I'm not interested in your private life. Don't get me wrong, I hope it's well.
But can you please tell what your future plans are for DVD Profiler? Will there be a future? Is it cash-flow, time problem! I think that I can speak for the most members that if it's a cash-flow problem. That the majority is willing to pay an annual fee or a new licence if necessary. I'm asking for an update because. I see more and more uncertainty about the future of this program and site in the forums.
I think you still read/scan the forums. So please give us an update.
Sincerely, Ian | Posted: Topic Replies: 2, Topic Views: 1995 | |
